Andy Bleiler

• Monica Lewinsky's high svhool drama teacher.
• Admits to having had an affair with her that began when she was 19 - after high school - and ended last year.
• Has stated that he would have trouble believing any statements she would make as truthful. Says she has a tendancy to stretch the truth, particularly if it advances her own position.
• At 32, he is 8 years her senior.

Sidney Blumenthal

• Long-time friend of the Clintons.
• Served as WH advisor during first term.
• Worked in WH counsel's office with Vince Foster.
• Linda Tripp worked for him while he was on WH staff.

Dolly Kyle Browning

• Dallas real estate attorney.
• Wrote Purposes of the Heart.
• Claims this book is a fictionlaized account of a 33-year relationship with Clinton.
• Stated, in an inteview with the Free Republic newspaper, that she offerred the manuscript to (unnamed) NY publishers who wanted, instead, to publish it as a true account of an alleged affair with Clinton. She declined the offer and self-published it instead.

George Bush

• President of the United States, succeeded (defeated) by Bill Clinton in 1992 election.

Plato Cacheris

• Washington attorney representing Monica Lewinsky after she fired William Ginsburg on June 2, 1998.
• Hired as co-counsel along with Jacob Stein.
• Represented (and obtained immunity for) Fawn Hall during Iran-contra hearings.
• Negotiated guilty plea for Aldrich Ames, CIA analyst convicted of selling secrets to the Russians.
• 69 years old as of 6/3/1998).
• Former clients include former Nixon Attorney General John Mitchell, convicted spy Harold J. Nicholson, and Democratic activist Mark Siegel (enmeshed in congressional investigation into possible fund-raising abuses in 1996 elections.)

George Conway III

• Lawyer with the firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, in NY.
• According to The New York Observer Conway informed "stunned" colleagues at the powerhouse law firm that he had secretly been working for Jones since 1994, including helping to write her Supreme Court brief arguing against presidential immunity last summer.
• Observer article also cited possible connection between him and James Moody.
• Member, Federalist Society.

Elizabeth (Betty) Currie

• President Clinon's personal secretary
• Friends with Monica Lewinsky
• Alleged to have retrieved several items, including a dress, that were given to Lewinsky by Clinton.

Mathew Drudge

• Author of the Drudge Report Ezine, in which he first broke the Monica Lewinsky story.
• Is being sued by Sidney Blumenthal for having publicly avered that Blumenthal was a wife-beater. Blumenthal is suing him for $30 million. Drudge's defense is being provided in part by the Center for the Study of Popular Culture, founded by David Horowitz.

Federalist Society

• Organiuzation of conservative lawyers.
• Members include George Conway, III, Jerome Marcus. James Moody, Richard Porter, Kenneth Starr.

Vincent Foster

• Long-time friend of Clintons and former law partner of Hillary CLinton.
• Found dead along GW parkway on July 20, 1993. Death was ruled a suicide by three separate investigations and two congressional inquiries.
• Friend of Peter Straus(?)
• Last known person to see him alive was Linda Tripp, a secretary who worked in the same WH section.

Gennifer Flowers

• Claims to have had a 12-year affair with Bill Clinton.
• Went public with this claim during 1992 presidential campaign.
• Appeared in Penthouse magazine after the disclosure.

Terry M. Giles

• Andy Bleiler's attorney.
• Appointed to Board of Regents, Pepperdine University Law School, June 1996.

Lucianne Goldberg

• Literary agent and friend of Linda Tripp.
• Former Nixon campaign worker who posed as a reporter covering the McGovern campaign in 1968 in an effort to gain "dirt" on the Democratic candidate for the Nixon camp. (Worked for Murray Chotiner, a political operative known for his dirty-tricks methods.)
• Allegedly told Tripp to tape conversations with Lewinsky "to protect herself".
• Mark Fuhrman's agent for book he wanted to write on Vince Foster suicide investigation. Project was dropped by publisher Alfred Regnery, citing Fuhrman's lack of insider access to the political scene in Washington. (see article)

David Horowitz

• Founder of Center for the Study of Popular Culture.
• Staunch anti-feminist (some would say out and out misogynist), who says inter alia, that colleges should not fund rape crisis centers.
• His CSPC is providing legal assistance for Mathew Drudge's defense in the $30 million libel suit brought by Sidney Blumenthal.
• CSPC receives funding through donations from Richard Mellon Scaife.

Michael Isikoff

• Newsweek reporter following Paula Jones suit.
• Tripp gave him copies of portions of the recordings she made of conversations with Lewinsky, a partial transcript of which was published in Newsweek.

Norma Hollaway Johnson

• U.S. District Court Judge in Washington D.C.
• Ruled on many of Starr/White House motions including whether or not Secret Service agents can be compelled to testify before a grand jury in matters involving the President (they can), and whether Monica Lewinsky had an immunity deal with Ken Starr (she didn't at the time, but one was granted in July.)

Paula Corbin Jones

• Suing President Clinton under USC Title VII - sexual harassment in the workplace - in federal court in Little Rock, AK. Jones claims that Clinton solicited sexual favors from her and later failed to promote her as a result of her rejecting that solicitation.
• Partial transcript from her deposition in the case. This was made public as part of the motion for summary dismissal filed by Clinton's attorney.

Vernon Jordan

• Washington attorney.
• Former head of the National Urban League. Resigned after being shot during an assassination attempt in 1980.
• Clinton friend and ally.
• Reported to have helped Monica Lewinsky obtain work with Revlon Corporation in NY.
• Accused, along with President Clinton, of putting pressure on Lewinsky to sign an affidavit stating that she did not have an affair with the President.

Walter Kaye

• New York insurnce magnate.
• Large contributor to DNC and Clinton presidential campaign.
• Friend of Marcia Lewis.
• Referred to by Monica Lewinsky as "Uncle Walter".

David Kendall

• One of Clinton's personal attorneys.

Bernard Lewinsky

• Monica Lewinsky's father.
• Uncologist living in Brentwood, CA.
• Divorced Monica's mother, Marcia Lewis in 1987.

Marcia Lewis

• Monica Lewinsky's mother.

• Is said to have lied about having an affair with one of them to gain publicity for the book.
• Divorced Monica's father Bernard Lewinsky in 1987.

• Lawyer.
• Advisor and confidante to Bill Clinton since his first presidential campaign.
• Has an office just down the hall from the Oval Office and has total access to the President.

Jerome Marcus

• Lawyer. Partner in firm of Berger & Montague in Philadelphia, PA.
• Law school frien of Richard Porter. Contacted same on behalf of Linda Tripp who was seeking to tip off Ken Starr regarding Monica Lewinsky and a possible cover-up of an affair she was having with president Clinton.

Susan McMillan

• Publicist for Paula Jones.
• Wealthy, anti-abortion activist.
• Has had two abortions herself.
• Board member of Rutherford Institute.

Marie-Bernarde Miller

• Prosecutor assigned by Arkansas Supreme Court to prosecute suit against Clinton seeking to disbar him.
• Graduate of Mt St. Mary at Little Rock.
• Member of Roman Catholic Religious Sisters of Mercy from the early 1970s to 1986. (I.e. a former nun.)
• Worked for a civil rights attorney.
• Worked in Pulaski County prosecutor's office
• Former Arkansas assistant attorney general.

Steven Montanarelli

• Maryland Prosecutor.
• Brought charge of illegal wiretapping against Linda Tripp

James Moody

• Represented Linda Tripp before Special Prosecutor Kenneth Starr.
• Put in touch with Tripp by George Conway.
• Did work in the 1980's for the Capital Legal Foundation, a conservative public interest law firm that argued Gen. William Westmoreland's libel suit against CBS.
• Member, Federalist Society.

John Podesta

• Deputy White House Chief of Staff.
• Involved in effort to find Monica Lewinsky a job. Said to have asked UN Ambassador Bill Richardson to consider offering Lewinsky a job interview. (AP)
